Put those devices down: 20 great places to explore over summer vacation!

The sun is shining and you have a steaming cup of coffee in your hand.  Then you look over at your kids and what are they doing? They are “glued” to an electronic device and the clock hasn’t even hit 9 a.m. yet.  Don’t let the electronic battle between parent and child send you into a panic! We’ve got 20 places within a 30 to 60-minute drive of Toledo that will keep your kids, big and small, entertained throughout the summer.

SIDENOTE:  How about making a game of your adventures?  Have your kids take a pen and notebook with them to write down two things that they learned.  On your car ride home, have each of your kids share what they have written.  It will encourage dialogue that will hopefully last all summer long!
