THROUGH THE DANBERRY TREASURE CHEST

Danberry Auction October 24, 2013 at 6pm at the

Hilton Garden Inn, Perrysburg.

Our dinner auction for charity is an annual event, but the needs of children with chronic illnesses continue throughout the year. Danberry hosts a variety of fundraising events all year long, and together in 2012 we raised enough funds to donate $42,000 to The Danberry Treasure Chest. This is an emergency assistance fund set up at The Toledo Children’s Hospital benefiting families struggling with finances while their child struggles with a serious illness. Funds are administered through The Toledo Community Foundation and used for things such as uncovered medical treatments, medicine, a mortgage payment to keep a family in their home, back utilities, car payments, or in the worst of circumstances, to cover funeral costs. In 2012 alone, the Treasure Chest Fund aided approximately 70 families who received over $60,000 in assistance.

What we do:

Each year we host a fun event that combines social networking, entertainment, a wonderful dinner and a ‘great cause’ at a premier location such as the Hilton Garden Inn at Levis Commons. Both silent and live auctions highlight the evening as well as a special raffle drawing. This evening event generates the major portion of the proceeds for the Danberry Treasure Chest.

4. Make a direct contribution! Every penny will go to a family struggling with finances while their child struggles with a serious illness!

5. Attend the Danberry Treasure Chest Dinner Auction on October 24^th, 2013 at 6pm. It is at the Hilton Garden Inn, Perrysburg, OH again this year. Put together a group of friends and buy a table!
