On October 19, 2012 the Danberry Treasure Chest will hold its 18th annual charity dinner auction at Hilton Garden Inn at Levis Commons. The event begins with a cocktail hour and silent auction at 6:00pm, dinner at 7:00pm and a live auction at 8:30pm. The Foreclosure Band will play late into the night, it is open to the public with an advanced reservation. Kristian Brown of 13 abc will be the events MC, with Greg Zielinski, of Amlin Auctions serving as the auctioneer for the live auction. In addition to the live auction there will be over 150 silent auction items.
The Danberry Treasure Chest is an emergency assistance fund set up at The Toledo Children’s Hospital. It benefits families struggling with finances while their child deals with a serious illness. Funds are administered through The Toledo Community Foundation. A representative family who has benefited from the fund will be introduced at the event also receiving funds from the event are The Autism Collaborative and the YMCA-JCC’s Kids in Motion Program.
