Last week, the Danberry Treasure Chest Fund was honored to present a $400,000 donation to ProMedica Russell J. Ebeid Children’s Hospital. We owe a huge thank you to our wonderful community and Danberry Family for passionately supporting this critical cause over the years. All funds will help to expand the community’s pediatric behavioral and mental healthcare, a crucial public health emergency that is best treated with early intervention. The hospital’s pediatric inpatient psychiatric unit has undergone major renovations and held its ribbon cutting ceremony in May.

“We are so grateful for our friends at Danberry,” said Paula Grieb, Chief Nursing Officer, and Chief Operating Officer at ProMedica Russell J. Ebeid Children’s Hospital. “The Danberry Treasure Chest Fund has supported the physical needs of our patients and families for many, many years, providing resources we simply could not. This year, the Danberry Treasure Chest team has gone above and beyond to assist in supporting our pediatric behavioral health initiatives. Thank you to Danberry, their agents and employees, all the sponsors, and the community members who attended and supported the event. Your generosity is so appreciated.”
The Danberry Treasure Chest came to fruition in the early 90s and has made annual contributions to Toledo Children’s Hospital since 2002. What started in a garage with a simple wish to give back has led to more than $2 million in donations over the years. Danberry Treasure Chest, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) public charity.
