The Community Benefit Program was created in 2016 as a way to increase volunteer efforts and donations from the Danberry family. Agents and staff are encouraged to give at least 4 hours of their time per year to a cause or organization of their choice. All participants are invited to our recognition event where the top 3 Danberry volunteers are awarded money to contribute to a charity they select.
The program was impacted by COVID-19 and fewer opportunities to serve in the community. In the year prior to the pandemic, our collective efforts resulted in charitable work at 202 organizations with a total of 17,212 volunteer hours. Last year, over 100 Danberry agents contributed 7,565 hours to more than 130 charities. We look forward to having more opportunities to give back and our goal for this year is 20,000 volunteer hours.
