The Saturday after Thanksgiving is recognized annually as Small Business Saturday. It was created in 2010 by American Express to encourage communities to support local business. We're lucky to live in a tight-knit area where residents are eager to help the local economy thrive. In fact, Toledo was ranked in the Top 100 in WalletHub's 2021 Best Large Cities to Start a Business.

forest view lanes | 2345 W Dean Rd, Temperance, MI 48182
All through November, Forest View Lanes has been hosting Small Business Sundays where other vendors set up tables in their venue to sell gift cards and products. On 11/27 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM they will have up to 25 local restaurants selling gift cards and on 11/28 there will be up to 8 local business owners selling merchandise and gift cards. Toledo Spirits is releasing Whiskey Tango Foxtrot Firefly Rye just in time for the holidays! The first day that you can grab a bottle is on Small Business Saturday. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot was the first spirit created by the distillery and every batch of the experimental whiskey is different. Check out their website for hours and the current menu.

thanksgiving weekend in findlay
Many Findlay establishments will have deals and events this weekend. Check out the Small Business Saturday info on visitfindlay.com. Findlay and Hancock County also encourage year-round support for local business with Second Saturday events. On the second Saturday of every month, multiple businesses are highlighted and may offer special sales. Information on the December Second Saturday will be posted here.

Visit this historic theatre on the 27th to save on future popcorn purchases! Buy a bucket of popcorn and receive a punch card for 3 free refills. The Maumee Indoor will also be hosting a Pop-Up Shop from 1:00 to 5:00 PM with other small businesses in their Community Room.
