November 1st is recognized nationally as Family Literacy Day and kicks off National Literacy Month. Families who read together succeed together! Kids with higher reading levels tend to be more successful in school, more civic-minded and more likely to participate in volunteer efforts. Helping children become better readers improves the community tenfold, which is why Mosaic Ministries is a very special Danberry community partner.
We recently wrapped up our 5th Annual Danberry Gives Book Drive. Mosaic Ministries is located in south Toledo and created the Baby University Program nearly a decade ago. The mission of Baby U is to get children on the path to lifelong quality education. A large factor in achieving this is done through reading. We are happy to have provided ----- book donations to the program since 2016.
