Hancock Historical Museum - Programming is constantly taking place at the Hancock Historical Museum! This is the perfect place for a history buff or a rainy day family outing. Today, there are nine facilities in total, including the Little Red Schoolhouse and the new Marathon Energy & Transportation Annex. In addition, the museum houses more than 70,000 books, photographs, manuscripts and artifacts in its collections. Their goal is to educate on the past, in hopes to inspire the future!

Children’s Museum of Findlay - Learn and play with the whole family at the Children’s Museum of Findlay. Perfect for a family outing or school field trip, the facility strives to assist in the development of the area’s youth through play! Currently under renovation, the museum will reopen to the public February 5, 2019. Follow their social media for additional information and updates! Riverside Park - Seven acres of waterfront land is owned and maintained by the city of Findlay for the public’s enjoyment. Some features include, Zonta Landing Boat Rentals, Observation Areas, Blanchard River Greenway Trail, and a stone walking trail around the old reservoir!

Mazza Museum - The Mazza Museum is a must-do as it contains the world’s largest collection of original artwork by children’s book illustrators. Their goal is to promote literacy and enrich the lives of all people through the art of picture books! Follow them on social media for information on upcoming events and operating hours. Ice Skating at The Cube - Looking for the perfect place to take your kids and let them burn off some extra steam? The Cube’s ice skating rink is the perfect spot. Find the public skate schedule on their website, as well as rental fees and other associated costs. They also do birthday party packages! Oakwoods Nature Preserve - This expansive 227.5 acre outdoor complex allows you to reconnect with nature. There are diverse habitats, nature trails, two lakes, and a Discovery Center. Picnic shelters with a fireplace, boat launch, fishing pier, and lots of multi-use trails, ready for you to utilize at the Oakwoods Nature Preserve.

Fort Findlay Playhouse - Operating with a core of highly talented and dedicated volunteers, Fort Findlay Playhouse produces 5 to 7 shows per year, including their regular five-show season and occasional Second Stage productions. The Playhouse gets a majority of its funding through patrons, angels, and benefactors. Show your support and purchase tickets for an upcoming show! Just a short walk from downtown, Fort Findlay Playhouse is the perfect date night activity.

Marathon Center for the Performing Arts - Come see a show or take an arts education class at this large, Art Deco-style auditorium. Based in Findlay’s Historic Central Middle School, the center prides itself on state-of-the-art lighting and sound technology, new seating, an art gallery, and much more. Riverbend Recreation Area - Hancock Park District’s first park is a place to enjoy Bridle Trails, disk golf, primitive campground, a dog park, and so much more! Litzenberg Memorial Woods - Containing 227.7 acres on the north side and south side of U.S. Route 224 West; the area is known for its rolling countryside, wooded ravines, and a grand expanse of wetlands, prairie, and beautiful sky views. The park combines the area’s rich agricultural heritage with conservation and wildlife, education and history, hiking and exploration, picnicking and play, and social gatherings and special events to create a unique destination.
