Heather Downs (as the name would suggest) was initially built as a horse racing track, but quickly transitioned into a private country club. The course now welcomes club members and the public alike to enjoy a round on the historic and picturesque golf course and enjoy dinner afterward in Bogey’s Bar & Grill. Riverby Hills Golf Club

The relaxation of
Riverby can be felt even before you pick up your clubs. Located off West River Road between Perrysburg and Grand Rapids, the idyllic scenery ensures a pleasurable experience. Riverby Hills Golf Club is open to both members and the public.
Brandywine Country Club
The Brandywine Country Club celebrated its 50th birthday in 2016, and in all that time has made a name for itself as a must-play destination for golfers in the region and throughout the country. The top-of-the-line course was recently renovated and features a new, exciting 18-hole layout. If you’re not a member of the club, you can still enjoy dinner at the Champions Bar & Grille, which features gorgeous views of the course and a variety of indulgent dishes. Highland Meadows Golf Club

Highland Meadows Golf Club is an affordable, private club located in Sylvania. The staff makes club members feel like part of the family, is welcoming to new members, and encourages fun and camaraderie. Golfers will find sanctuary on the acclaimed, 18-hole golf course, which has been home to the Marathon Classic (a regular stop on the LPGA tour) for 27 years. You’ll also find a practice range, putting green, professional shop, indoor and outdoor dining areas, snack bar, and Olympic-sized swimming pool located on site. Bedford Hills Golf Club
On July 19th,
Bedford Hills will host the Danberry Golf Outing for the second year in a row. They offer 27 unique holes, so you certainly won't get bored at this excellent location. They consider their course to be both "challenging for the better player, and playable for the novice."
Inverness Club
The
Inverness Club is a nationally recognized course with a rich history. It has hosted 4 U.S. Opens and 2 PGA Championships. Built in 1919, Inverness was designed by Donald Ross, one of the most famous designers of the time. In addition to golfing, their clubhouse is a highly sought after catering and gathering venue, as well.
Toledo Country Club

Toledo Country Club is a private club located in South Toledo along the Maumee River. Established in 1897, it is one of Toledo's oldest golf courses. TCC members get to enjoy the true country club lifestyle with a vast range of social gatherings, events, dining, and amenities. Their expansive pool area is the perfect spot for summer family fun. In addition, they have 4 tennis courts and 24 docks available. So you can easily cruise in for dinner and enjoy a beautiful boat ride home.
Ottawa Park Golf Course
This beautiful, 18-hour public golf course is ideal for champion golfers and beginners alike. The course was designed by S.P. Jermain (known as the father of Toledo golf) in 1899, although Jermain had claimed that golf was originally played on the grounds in 1894. This makes it the oldest American golf course west of New York City. The grounds have a natural feel, as they have had more than 100 years to blend with the native greenery, but are also immaculately maintained. Giant Oak Golf Club

The Giant Oak Golf Club has gained a lot of loyal golfers over the years — Toledo-area residents can’t get enough of the well-maintained grounds, excellent service and interesting layout. One reviewer notes, “If you play there once, you’ll be hooked!” The club was established in 1969 and was designed by highly respected golf architect, Arthur Hills, who designed several of the top courses in the Toledo area. The namesake and centerpiece of the course is a magnificent 300-year-old oak tree, which marks the first green. The Legacy by Arthur Hills

The Legacy Golf Club might feel like an exclusive, private course, but the well-kept grounds are actually open to the public. The gently-rolling course is located on 207 acres and contains five lakes, as well as the area’s only island greens. The immaculate course earned a spot among the top 200 courses to play in the country from Golf Digest. While you’re playing 18 holes on the weekends, enjoy refreshments from the food and beverage carts located throughout the grounds. Sylvania Country Club
The Sylvania Country Club offers a premier, 18-hole course that is only available to members. The tree-lined course is built on 160 acres of rolling terrain and was designed by famed designer and golf champion Willie Park Jr., who dubbed it as one of his favorite courses in existence. Because of its quality, the course has hosted many state and local tournaments to the community. Visitors have included great golf names such as Arnold Palmer, Frank Stranahan, Byron Nelson and Mel Woelfling. May the course be with you!
