This independent, locally owned coffee house makes delicious coffee — whether you order a simple drip, latte or iced concoction. 2. BREW Coffee Bar

BREW Coffee Bar serves locally roasted, high quality and ethically sourced coffee straight from Zingerman’s Coffee. This is a popular destination for University of Toledo students due to its location near campus and relaxed atmosphere for getting work done or hanging out with friends. Maddie & Bella roasts their own coffee by hand in small, controlled batches to ensure the utmost in quality and perfection. A local husband and wife barista team opened Rustbelt Coffee in 2016 after four years of strategic planning. This downtown coffee shop operates as a nonprofit, channeling sales revenues to other local nonprofit organizations. 9. Sweet Shalom Tea Room

219 West Wayne Street, Maumee, OH 43537 Clara J’s at 219 in Maumee serves Proper Tea and a gourmet lunch on an eclectic mix of fine china. Stop by for lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and don’t miss the Proper Tea service at 11 a.m. or 1 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. This British tradition includes a formal tea with a set menu, including scones, savories, sandwiches and sweets.
